I'm Alex. I've been miniature painting for over three years and somewhere along the way it stopped being a hobby and started being the thing I think about most.

Paint For Food is the independent studio I run out of Manchester. It's a small, deliberately personal operation, every project is painted, prepped and packed by me. No production line, no outsourced batches.

The brief I give every commission is simple: it should look better than you imagined when you opened the box, and it should still look right ten years later on the shelf.
